Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Margie Martino is a product of the philly soul scene, She combines honest lyrics with a smokey soulful vocal to create a sound all her own.
Margie began writing and performing at the age of thirteen, but her real love affair with music started when she majored in modern ballet at the Franklin Learning Center, soon she would find herself harmonizing with the vocal majors in the hallways and participating in every school production. Margie was always a writer from as long as she can remember and when her lyrics began to marry with her soulful harmonies and a true singer/songwriter was born. After three years performing at legendary Philadelphia venues as well as collaborating with local hip hop artists and musicians, Margie exploded on the dance music scene with her fist release in February 2013 “Just Dance” and now brings you the remix package on 418 Music.
